After a long workout it can get boring having the same old recovery shake. If you purchase shakes from say Gatorade or something similar, you have limited choices of flavors. If your looking to switch it up, try recovering with a simple and easy shake such as this one.
Product highlight - This smoothie uses Amazing Grass Organic Kale Powder, this powder is perfect to add to recovery shakes because it delivers potassium, a bit of extra sodium (to help retain fluids), and is rich in vitamin K which plays a role in the synthesis of protein in the body.
Green Blueberry Banana Shake
Serves 1 (12oz)
1 cup milk (your preference of milk)
6oz yogurt (plain or vanilla)

1 teaspoon honey
1 handful of ice (if fruit is fresh)
1. In a blender combine all of the ingredients listed above. Blend until creamy and smooth or to your liking. (If needed add more milk to make the shake smoother).
